Teaching SLAM and ROS to 100 high-school students on a robot I built

At Fudan University I hosted and lectured at the annual National Youth University Science Camp. For the 2019 camp I built a ROS mobile platform (Raspberry Pi 3B + lidar, ROS gmapping for SLAM) and used it as the teaching platform.

In the lecture “Basic robotics: from theory to practice,” I trained 100 high-school students on basic SLAM and ROS programming.
